Honeyßee

Did you know that sugar (sucrose) is a carbohydrate that occurs naturally in every fruit and veggie?

There are so many different kinds of sugar… sanding sugar, raw sugar, confectioners sugar, barbados (muscovado) sugar, brown sugar (light & dark) and liquid sugars. So many choices. But which is the best •Healthiest• to sweeten with?

HONEY

Honey is nature's energy booster! As well as being a great immune system builder. Honey has natural fruit sugars. And it is more effective in keeping blood sugar levels constant then other types of sugar. Honey has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties that help improve your digestive system and help fight disease. Honey also has anti-carcinogenic (cancer preventing) and anti-tumor properties.

Honey is God's wonder sweetener

It adds more depth of flavor to your confections, instead of straight up sweet! I only use honey and very rarely Agave nectar (another natural sweetener). I have found honey to be best. The Bodamite (my honey) and I use honey because it is natural and much healthier. Also it keeps our blood sugar from spiking, which is something we have to watch.

So, next time you bake a sweet treat, or make sweet tea, trade in the sugar for honey! Organic of course
The conversion for sugar to honey is simple. For every cup of sugar, use 3/4 cup of honey.

Bodalicious Bite •• I have found Agave nectar to work best for taking the edge off spicy chilli and soup. A teaspoon or two will even out the kick of a spicy hot dish nicely.
